When Body Love Doesn't Seem Possible

Body love. It’s the pinnacle of body acceptance. But for some, moving from body hate to body love, from one extreme to the other, is daunting. 

Me? I’m somewhere in the middle. I don’t hate my body, but I don’t love it either. I accept my body the way that it is. As Kelsey Miller puts it, I’m body neutral.

I love this concept and find it to be much more accessible than body love. It helps me avoid feeling guilty when I have a body confident day followed by a not so body confident day. And let’s face it, confidence is just as fluid as everything else. It’s not something you either have or lack—it’s something that ebbs and flows. And that’s ok.
