Hi there and welcome to Feed to Nourish!

I'm Trish Kellogg—a Registered Dietitian who believes food is the nourishment that allows us to live life to the fullest. What’s my nutrition philosophy?


Life is meant to be experienced, in whatever capacity you deem fit for you. For me, that’s starting the day with a cup of coffee, ending it with a glass of wine, and filling every moment in between chasing adventure.

More often than not, I find my adventure in the kitchen. The kitchen is my happy place, and cooking is my creative release. While I was born with a knack for following recipes, it wasn’t until I started grad school that I began exploring my talent for recipe development. Now that I’ve started, I can’t stop.

When I’m not finding adventure in the kitchen, I’m nourishing my life with travel and activity. I love to travel—the culture, the sights, the people, the food…! This love stems from the unforgettable adventures my parents would take me on while growing up. It didn’t matter if we were camping in Tuolumne Meadows, free climbing in Sedona, or white-water rafting in Costa Rica, our travels led us to spectacular destinations making cherished memories and engaging in incredible activities. These travels helped to inspire my fitness philosophy. I believe fitness is about doing something you love. For me, I love activity! Sure, I regularly run and practice yoga, but rest assured knowing that I'd much rather be doing something that doesn’t feel like exercise—hula hooping, rock climbing, horseback riding, hiking, snorkeling, skiing, skating, dancing…!
